At 20th September, I had a trip of 2 days and 1 night to Nikko sponsored by JTB. As you all already aware of the earthquake happened at Japan this March, many foreigner are afraid of the radioactive and is not visiting Japan as much as before.
Ops, you can see my name!! haha. As if I scared huh? ^^
Behind the name plate~
But from my point of view, Japan is really safe for now for traveling. And it’s a shame if you didn’t visit Japan since it’s be most advanced and most clean country in the world, not to mention the safety here too.
well then~ back to the trip~ Start from riding the bus~ we gathered at Tokyo Station that day. Then we board the bus and they start giving out flyers and badges~
Last Thursday, I had been to a one day trip to Hakone organized by my scholarship sponsor, Mabuchi Motor Corporation. At their official letter it wrote “奨学生の集会” and I was expecting we are gonna meet up inside some building and talking to each other about our life. But I was really wrong about it. It turned out to be a really fun trip to me.^^
Inside the bus. As you can see it’s raining out there~
I meet up with my friends from my previous Japanese language school, ABK at Tokyo station at about 7:45 a.m and then walked to the destination bus station nearby. It kinda suck to he walking in the pouring rain. Even inside of my shoes had filled with water…
And then it’s time to ride the bus. The girl sat beside me is a Mongolia who study her 2nd year in University. We talked a while and the bus departed.
We had been given these snacks to eat along the journey.
Inside the bus, the leader of the scholarship student had prepared some ice breaking games for us to play. Even though I don’t think it is necessary for me, I had fun played along.
Our first destination is Owakudani that we can take great photos of the smoke released and buy the famous “Black Eggs”. They said that you can live 7 years longer with every Black Eggs you consumed due to it’s nutrients. Bought some to be bring to my home-stay family and some or myself.^^
Yesterday when I’m going to part-time job interview at Odawara, I had passed through this Castle. Asked the man after my interview and he told me the entrance is free so I decided to take a walk inside it.
Some historical education for the tourist to read. How much can you understand without english explanation? ^^
It’s kinda interesting to see such historical building located just beside of the main road inside a city. ^^
liked the red bridge. A bridge always remind me of the scene from Spirited Away where Chihiro have to cross the bridge without breathing so the spirits or gods there will not notice she is a human.
Few weeks ago when I’m departing to the Harmonica Camp at Saitama, I went through some area where there is very few people.
This is the first time I’m in a train so empty which seemed that the whole carnage is mine. ^^
This is during 1.30 p.m. Should be the time where everyone start going out but it’s very empty here.
If this is Malaysia, I would sleep on the seat now. LOL.
Planned to start this “Japan Scene” series to show you all scenes from all over Japan. For that I’ll be staying at Japan for University for the coming 4 years or more I’m sure I can blog more on this Category. ^^
