富士前神社大祭り

Just back from the Oo-Matsuri of Fujimae Jinjya (Oo mean Big, Matsuri is somewhat like a festival.)

The Matsuri has been going on for two days but I didn’t really noticed it. Just found out about the matsuri on my way to my Part-time work place.

roadside

Reached the Matsuri place.

Reached the matsuri at around 6.30 p.m.(Yes, it is still bright out there.) Then we take a tour around the selling places and games places. Then we decided what to eat. I go there with my friends. So we decided to divide up the foods to save on money and can try more type of foods.

Jyaga Bata-

じゃがバター(Jyaga Bata-)

First tried out the Jyaga Bata- which you saw on Aria the Animation when Ai-chan first visited Neo-Venetia. Jyaga Bata-  mean Butter Potatoes in English. (Jyaga Imo = Potatoes, Bata- = Butter).

shooting game

The shooting games’ corner.

Also spotted this corner which often see on Animes or games which you can play shooting game with the air-gun and then win prizes. Didn’t tried it since it’s expensive and the prizes doesn’t inpressed me…

big soda

Saw this little kid carryinng the BIG SODA CAN.

goldfish

Yes, Goldfish catching is a Must Have at a Matsuri!

Feel very happy when first saw this things. But then started to considering about how troublesome it is to take care of those fishes….. Decided not to catch them….

kingyo Sukui

Goldfish Catching is called 金魚すくい(Kingyo Sukui. Kingyo=goldfish, Sukui= saving) which mean (saving the goldfish?金魚を救いこと? *correct me if i’m wrong.)

eating jyaga bata-

Bought the Jyaga Bata- and are currently eating them. It seemed simple but really tasty. ^^

takoyaki

Also tried out the たこ焼き(Takoyaki which mean Fried Octopus Ball). This is my favourite japanese food. ^^ 400 yen for 8 balls.

takoyaki stall

The Takoyaki Stall. ^^

Okoniyaki Stall

The stall which selling Okonomiyaki.

The Okonomiyaki stall is the most famous stall around this festival since the Okonomiyaki is really BIG and CHEAP. 400 yen too but the size is really big!

Super big

As you can see from the board, 特大 which mean Extra Big!

Finish

Okonomiyaki Done!

Meshiagari

Yes! Big and tasty.

Hiyashi Ramune

冷やしラムネ(Hiyashi Ramune which mean Cold Lemonade water.)

Cost 200 yen. It’s just like Soda Water. ^^ The can is quite beautifull. I bought it back to my room. Maybe plant some plants on it later?

Ikayaki

イカ焼き (Smoked Squid). Tasted really great!

I also tried to do the 水ヨヨ釣り. Successfully Fished 2 Yoyo and gave one to my friend. After all the eating and drinking session. I take some time to do some chit chat with my friends. Then decided to go back. ^^” 疲れた
